Are you an experienced Development Management with a flair for sourcing and improving your own property portfolio?  

Client-side opportunities are few and far between, especially within the Science and Pharmaceutical industry. A leading developer and asset management business have seen their rapid expansion into the UK market secure a number of key assets. Developing and transforming some of the best spaces for high-growth science & technology businesses. With a unique approach, they own, develop, and manage their assets to provide a 24/7, first class facilities and services to their tenants. These include leading specialists within healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences. 
With an increasing portfolio of high spec developments already secured, the Development team is expanding.

If you are an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic Development Manager with proven experience with a commercial developer or consultancy, we want to speak with you.

As their new Development Manager, you will lead a number of Commercial Development Projects through the development life cycle. You will help source new sites and opportunities, carrying out site evaluation for the consideration of the Board, using development appraisal models and then implementing purchases on approved projects. You will provide full project management of the development, working together with an expert team of external Consultants, Designers, and Contractors. Managing projects through the full development process, including Planning, Construction and Delivery. 

We are interested in speaking with Development Managers who have a passion for managing projects through the full lifecycle. You will be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the planning and development process with an extensive network within Construction or Technical Consultancy and experience delivering laboratories or science related buildings. Additionally, you will be educated in a construction or surveying related degree, with a professional qualification to either the CIOB, RICS or APM. The role will involve a mixture of remote working with travel to and from sites concentrated predominately in the South & East of England and head offices in London.
