Site Investigation Engineer - building testing and inspection.
Engineering Technician or Graduate Engineer required for a trainee role. You will work on-site, investigating buildings and existing structures on projects across London and East Anglia.
Working for an engineering specialist, this is not setting out or construction.
As a Site Investigation Engineer, you'll need an interest in building surveying, and how buildings and structures work.
You will work on a range of historical and modern buildings, learning how to test, inspect and assess structures. Note-taking, data collection, setting up and using specialist site investigation equipment. Running tests and sampling for repair work.
The role suits a practical or technical person who is interested in buildings and likes working outside and on-site.
BTEC qualification in a Built Environment or Civil Engineering subject would be ideal. More important is your interest in building investigation, your enthusiasm and your willingness to learn. Prior experience isn't necessary at a trainee level.
Join a thriving engineering consultancy with work and offices across the UK and abroad.
