As an experienced Architectural Designer, you will be joining an award-winning company working within their architectural team in their Cambridgeshire office. They are an established company working primarily within the residential sector on both private sector and affordable housing schemes.
You will be responsible for managing multiple design schemes, compiling layouts and masterplans for individual projects, land acquisition feasibility studies and detailed layouts for future planning applications.
Duties to include:
- Liaise with development team members to ensure that appropriate project requirements are achieved.
- Ensure that agreed design and planning standards are met, that development potential is maximised, and that Joint Venture Partner and Key Stakeholder requirements are achieved.
- Design audit process to take place regularly throughout feasibility to planning determination project stages.
- Work collaboratively with Joint Venture Partners and Key Stakeholders recognising their key drivers and ensure that the design of individual projects positively responds to these objectives.
- Manage multiple scale and type of projects at any one time often to tight deadlines.
- Manage and support junior members of the Design Team
Skills and experience:
- Experience in multi-phase, mixed use projects
- Experience working for a developer and standard housetypes desirable
- Experience in producing large scale masterplans
- Experience using AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit is beneficial)
- Experience using Photoshop (knowledge of InDesign is beneficial)
