A leading firm of Chartered Assistants are looking for a Property Management Assistant to join their expanding team based in Hertfordshire.

This is an opportunity to join a growing team of dedicated colleagues who deliver the highest level of expertise and service to our clients. This exciting role will involve aiding with all aspects of property management for new and existing portfolios, ranging from major motorway service areas, and shopping centres to smaller commercial properties located around the UK.

We are open to candidates that have a Residential background who perhaps are looking to make the move to commercial. This is an entry level role so senior Residential candidates will not be suitable.

Job Specification

• Lease Analysis and due diligence, of commercial leases and occupancy agreements.

• Data entry of lease information into the property and project management software.

• Tenant Support Responding to initial queries from tenants regarding lease amendments.

• Assisting with credit control.

• Assisting the property management team with lease renewals, expiries, and amendments.

 • Liaising with accounts team on tenant matters such as arrears, expiries, and renewals.

• Information Management

• Ensuring that tenant lease information is always up to date across all information platforms (Monday.com, Tramps, Tenancy Schedules).

• Downloading monthly tenancy schedules for use by surveyors, accounts, and clients. Person Specification

Desirable Qualifications / Experience Office based experience.

• Office based experience in a real estate environment

• Knowledge of lease analysis.

• Commercial lease analysis

• Skills & Abilities Microsoft Office.

• Attention to detail and organisation.

• Business writing and presentational abilities.

• Well-developed communication Skills.

• Experience working in and across teams.

• Demonstrated use of remote conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Teams.

• Ability to manage own work schedule.

Progression and Support for additional qualifications and training opportunities are offered.

Mon-Fri with some hybrid working offered after completion of the probation period. 4pm finishes on Fridays. 

20 days annual leave plus recognised English Bank Holidays (normally eight per year).
