Are you looking to join an architectural practice based in Hertfordshire who work primarily within the residential sector (from high end, bespoke new builds and refurbs to large scale housing developments)? Due to an increase in workload they are now looking for an Architectural Technician to join their team. This opportunity would suit someone with 5+ years working within a practice / developer, ideally with job running experience
The practice is involved in feasibility and planning, construction information, project management and visualisation. Their proficiency also extends to working on Listed Buildings and structures within Conservation Areas.
The successful candidate will need to:
- Be an enthusiastic and competent Architectural Technologist with a minimum 5 years' experience.
- Have a high level of AutoCAD skills.
- Be experienced in residential development.
- Have excellent technical knowledge; both in traditional construction techniques and modern build methods.
- Have the ability to produce accurate tender and construction drawings with a sound understanding of UK Building Regulations.
- Have a logical and practical approach to problem solving, have planning and organisation skills, demonstrate leadership skills and a willingness to take on responsibility
- Have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Work on a full time basis (with one remote working day per week).
