Join a leading independent practice, in this key role, complementing a small team of Surveyors and Project Managers.


Your New Role

You will be joining a building consultancy who value expertise, knowledge and understanding. The role is ideally suited to a qualified MRICS Building Surveyor with at least five years relevant post qualification experience. Working with a small and successful team, a friendly personality and an attentive approach to your client’s expectations is essential.

Based on the outskirts of London, the company is an accredited independent practice, multi-disciplined and growing. Established for over 30 years, they offer a comprehensive range of services. Collectively they are experts in; building consultancy, surveying and project management. With a track record of delivering successful projects to an exceptional standard, they attract clients from commercial, residential, education, healthcare, industrial, and retail sectors. Projects vary in size, complexity, and type but typically from £1m - £10m.

Workload is varied and includes a full range of project and professional duties for both private and public sector clients including:

  • Building surveying consultancy works (including specifications, condition surveying, maintenance programming, dilapidations & party walls)
  • Fire risk assessment related building surveying; fund monitoring, defect reports;
  • Project Management - including preparing tender documents, and post contract admin.

You will be a highly skilled Surveyor capable of providing professional advice on all things property and construction related, including potential risks, liabilities, conditions & defects, and the best course to remediation.

This is a rare opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor or Project Manager, with a solid base of consultancy or surveying practice experience. A place where you can quickly become a key member of the team and will be recognised and rewarded for your results.

Salary will reflect your experience and ability but is expected to be in the region of £55,000 - £65,000 with flexible working where appropriate and paid memberships.
