A £400m new build development in central London Reinforced concrete structure with multiple levels including a two story basement Complex and challenging construction project due to complete late 2026 A joint venture between multiple developers and stakeholders A specialist building which will be used for healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences What's in it for me This is a permanent employed opportunity which will focus on this project. These include leading specialists within healthcare, biotechnology, and life sciences. What will I be doing? As the Construction Manager, you will take the lead on the construction process, from pre-construction through to delivery. This will include coordinating all drawings, specifications and delivering work packages on large scale new build and refurbishment projects. You will be the main point of contact for all construction enquiries with design teams, sub contractors, consultants and the end users. You'll help develop and issue work packages to tendering parties before managing main contractor and sub contractors on a variety of procurement routes What do I need? We are interested in speaking to candidates with a passion for construction. A Senior Manager with proven experience in experience in a similar role, managing projects from tender, design through to completion - ideally involving laboratories or science related buildings. You will be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of the construction process with an extensive network within Construction or Technical Consultancy. Additionally, you will be educated in a construction related degree, with a professional qualification to either the CIOB, RICS or APM . The role will mainly be based on site 3-4 days per week with other days from their London office or from home. The site has very good access links via the Elisabeth line.
