Ben Hickman | Technical Director

Ben is a dedicated waterproofing professional, who enjoys understanding and simplifying complex situations. Working on both expert witness and new design development allows Ben to learn from failure to understand where industry can go wrong, and work to ensure mistakes aren’t repeated. 

A front leader in the structural waterproofing space, Ben enjoys shaping the industry. He has authored and reviewed articles and best practice guidance, and speaks regularly at conferences.

Johnny Etkind | Senior Waterproofing Design Consultant

Johnny brings more than twenty years’ experience of working as a Structural Engineer to CLW. He has extensive knowledge of the design and construction of basements, working with foundation contractors in roles that include structural engineer, project manager, temporary works co-ordinator and temporary works engineer.

This varied experience, now coupled with his CSSW qualification, gives him a rare and valuable viewpoint of the structural waterproofing space. He hit the ground running at CLW and enjoys putting his knowledge and understanding of basement structures to the test and sharing this with the rest of the team.

Adam Leatherdale | Senior Waterproofing Design Manager

Adam gets things done. Properly. He has instituted all of our filing, document naming, title blocks and protocols.

With over twenty year’s experience drawing for a range of architects and developers, Adam brings an excellence to our drawing communication.

He is also a Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW).

Ranjith Radhakrishnan | Design Engineer

Ranjith is our Design Engineer. He holds a Master’s in Civil Engineering (M.Sc.) from Stavanger University and is a Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW).

Ranjith has previously worked for Tremco and has international experience with product specification for basements.

Ranjith also champions business development and enjoys connecting with clients and others in the industry.
