Working with a multidisciplinary team delivering Health & Safety and CDM services to a portfolio of clients across commercial, healthcare, education, defence, and residential sectors.
Due to continued success and growth in the client portfolio, they have a new opportunity for a Health & Safety advisor with previous CDM experience to join their consultancy team.
You’ll need knowledge of legislation relevant to the construction industry, CDM and health and safety and qualifications in health and safety (NEBOSH construction and TechIOSH).
Membership with IMAPS and previous CDM experience is essential.
Your role will involve:
- Reviewing construction phase plans, project admin and creating health & safety files
- Reviewing project drawings and information to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Proactively advising and assisting clients, principal contractors, and design teams on the viability of projects in specific terms of CDM 2015 Regulations.
Flexible working, typically 2 days a week from their London office, 3 on-site with some home working.
With projects across the UK, travel required for site visits and inspections will vary from week to week but 80% of the project work is within the M25, with additional work in Essex, Kent and Reading.
You will need to be based within a sensible commute to London or live in London, East Anglia, Essex, Kent or Hertfordshire, as regular collaboration with the team at the office is still important.
