Join a specialist process technology and mechanical services company delivering a range of schemes to improve and maintain water supply and wastewater treatment works. Varying in scope and size from small refurbishments to complete turnkey solutions up to £4m in value.

With projects and contract awards across product technology and a leading reputation of successful design, build and install schemes they are looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Design Coordinator to join the growing team and help deliver continued excellence.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll produce mechanical design layouts and design solutions on a range of projects, evaluating specifications, costs and helping with design coordination and supporting Project Managers. Including technical reports, calculations, feasibility, technical assessments estimates and design development. You will also help advise CAD Designers and provide support to workshop and site installation teams. Key skills and requirements include:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering and a proven track record in mechanical design and project delivery.
  • Knowledge of relevant design codes, standards, H&S and legislation.
  • An excellent communicator with strong technical and people management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders and clients.
  • Detailed experience of municipal and industrial wastewater and water sectors.
