Had enough of stagnant roles and want to work for a company where your hard work actually leads somewhere? Managing projects that make a real difference, rather than just ticking boxes?

Ready to Lead Your Own Projects? Join Our Expanding Team in East Anglia & Essex!

Time to join a small, but rapidly expanding team of dynamic consultants specialising in Project Management for Education Construction and Maintenance across East Anglia & Essex. This isn't just another job; it's a genuine career opportunity where you'll work directly alongside experienced surveyors, getting the support and training you need to truly thrive.

Why You'll Love Being Part of The Team:

  • A friendly firm dedicated to your development, offering excellent training and support as you advance.
  • Expect a competitive salary package circa £40k - £55k DOE, plus a generous benefits package and bonus. Your hard work won't go unnoticed.
  • Enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, typically with 2-3 days based from home. Say goodbye to that crushing daily commute
  • Over two years of work already secured through repeat business and successful awards. Forget the "risk" you might associate with a smaller firm – they're thriving!
  • Work on exciting, secured projects throughout East Anglia & Essex, making a tangible difference in the Education sector.
  • This is a truly client-facing role where you'll manage your own projects, typically ranging from £250k - £3m, from concept to completion.
  • You'll regularly interact with academics, consultants, and contractors, applying your strong communication and management skills.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

Primarily focused on the Education and Academy sector, your Building Surveying and Project Management skills will be instrumental in delivering a variety of new build and refurbishment projects under several framework agreements. No two days are the same as you manage projects typically from £250k - £3m. You'll be involved from concept to completion, with additional opportunities in condition surveying and direct client liaison.

You'll receive strong encouragement to take the lead on your own projects. Experienced surveyors typically juggle 3-4 projects concurrently, valued between £500k and £1m. While mostly focused on schools, there are also opportunities within sports and leisure projects, keeping your workload varied and engaging.

What You Need to Bring:

  • Naturally, you'll have a Building Surveying background, ideally with 2-4 years of post-graduate experience managing minor to medium-sized projects in the private or education sector.
  • While not essential, priority will be given to Surveyors working towards MRICS – so if you're close, definitely let us know! We're more interested in your drive and practical experience.
  • Most importantly, you'll need to bring your energy, enthusiasm, and ambition to be part of a vibrant and growing team!
